Teletalk Pvt. Ltd, the official distributor of Gionee phones in Nepal is ready to bolster their lineup once again with a new A-series smartphone. While the company has already launched the Gionee A1 in Nepal and is on the verge of launching its flagship A1 Plus this June, they’ll be pairing the duo with another phone, this time it’s the Gionee A1 Lite. Likewise, its A-series duo, the limelight of the Lite version tends to be the selfie camera and battery.
Priced at Rs. 26,999 in Nepal the handset will be available for pre-order from 18th of June until 23rd of June via Gionee’s retailers throughout the nation. Interested users can pre-order the Gionee A1 Lite by depositing Rs. 2000 as a part of advance pre-booking amount.
The Lite version of Gionee’s smartphone will feature a 5.3-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The handset will be powered by 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6753 octa-core chipset, whilst the RAM and storage will be 3GB and 32GB respectively.
As far as the camera is concerned, the Gionee A1 Lite will rock a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash, while selfies will be taken care by a 20MP camera — which by the way sounds impressive — thanks to its excessive pixel number. The whole phone will boot on Android 7.0 Nougat on top of Amigo 4.0 UI, whereas the phone will drag the power from an impressive 4000mAh battery with a standby time of up to 295 hours, which is quite good to be true.
The aforementioned specs are acceptable for most of us, however, we’ll only judge the smartphone after getting our hands on it. Stay tuned with us for more updates.
