Nepa Hima Trade Link, the sole distributors of Sony products in Nepal has officially introduced the Xperia XZs in Nepal. Launched back in February, the Xperia XZs comes with plethoras of exciting features — the most being its camera sensors. The handset from Sony is now available in Nepal for pre-orders with a price tag of Rs. 69,000. There’s also a free Sony powerbank as a part of pre-booking offer.
If in case you’re unaware of it, the Xperia XZs has a superior counterpart, the Xperia XZ Premium — it features a 4K display and a superior chipset. But that’s a whole new story. As far as the specs are concerned, the Xperia XZs comes with a 5.2-inch 1080p display. Under the hood, it’s powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with an option for expansion via microSD card.
As for the camera, it’s the crowned jewel of the smartphone. The XZs comes with a 19MP 1/2.3″ sensor with an aperture rate of f/2.0. Aside of that, it also rocks Predictive & Laser autofocus, and an RGBC-IR sensor for natural color rendering.
The Motion Eye camera of the phone can shoot 4K videos with less stutter, thanks to the SteadyShot 5-axis stabilization. Adding the cherry on the cake, the XZs is capable of capturing slow motion video at up to ridiculous 960fps. As stated, Sony has also improved the panorama mode with an increase in resolution. As for the selfie, there’s an impressive 13MP front sensor with 22mm wide-angle lens, resulting in an in-depth capture.
The whole phone boots on Android 7.0 Nougat and packs an average 2900mAh battery. Connectivity wise, it supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, dual-band WiFi, NFC, GPS, and USB-Type C port for data exchanging.
