People asking for dislike buttons will finally be happy as Facebook is going to bring the alternatives to it’s like button. Facebook won’t have a “Dislike” button, but it will have a better alternative and new feature called – Reaction. Alongside the Like button the Reaction will add a number of other features like – love, haha, wow, sad, and angry. In October 2015, Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg gave us some idea about the thing we could expect from Facebook’s Like button alternatives, known as Reaction. Facebook has been testing it’s new features in some country, noticeably Spain and is ready to bring the features to more country within few weeks as “United State” being top at the list.
Facebook really doesn’t want to mess the thing as the Like button has been a powerful way to present the opinion by users towards a post and the Dislike button would make things quite negative. To be honest we like the idea of reaction, as a person who are sad by looking a post can long press the Like button and add a sad emoji instead of disliking a post as well as show anger toward a post if he/she is angry with it. As it would had been easy to integrate a dislike button but Facebook’s chief product officer “Chris Cox” says that the data he has looks promising, and that users will likely accept Reactions quickly and happily. As there are vast number of people using Facebook in Nepal, users can expect this features to arrive here soon.
