One of the most anticipated smartphone of this year – Samsung Galaxy S7’s leak has been coming fast through highway. Weibo has leaked interesting details about the specs from AnTuTu Benchmark of the flagship from Samsung.
Now all the eyes are on the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2016 as it is likely that Samsung will announce their flagship of 2016.
According to the leaks, inside the smartphone is powered by Samsung’s in house Exynos 8890 processor coupled up with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB ROM. The smartphone will feature a 5.1-inch with 1,440 by 2,560 pixel resolution. The most interesting is about it’s camera as the leaks suggest that Samsung will not be taking part in this year’s megapixel race, as the smartphone is doubted to feature a 12MP primary sensor, which is a downgrade from it’s predecessor’s 16MP camera.
Samsung downgrading a sensor in terms of megapixel won’t be a problem because megapixel alone won’t do nothing if the software isn’t optimized properly. The fine example is that Sony Z5’s 23MP camera come close to the 16MP of the Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6s 12MP and Nexus 6P 12.33MP is only some point below Galaxy S6 and Z5 in terms of benchmark scores.
