Chinese smartphone manufacturer – Lenovo has launched its new note series- K5 Note. The smartphone was launched quickly just after the few week its predecessor K4 Note was launched. Lenovo has unveiled that the smartphone will be powered by Mediatek’s Helio P10 chipset with 64-bit octa core processor alongside Mali-T860 GPU.
The smartphone features a 5.5-inch Full HD LTPS display. Alongside Helio P10 chipset the smartphone is coupled up with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory expandable via microSD card. Coming to the camera, the smartphone sports a 13MP primary sensor and an 8MP shooter at the front for selfie lovers out there. Inside the smartphone packs in a 3,500mAh battery that supports fast charging as well as runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Vibe UI on top.
Design wise the smartphone measures 152 x 75.7 x 8.49mm. The smartphone supports Dual-SIM with 4G LTE capability and VoLTE. The smartphone has a fingerprint scanner at the back, interestingly the fingerprint scanner can also be used to make payments and capture pictures. Well, that’s not only the thing that the Lenovo smartphone has to offer us, the smartphone is integrated with 1.5W speaker on the rear with Dolby Atmos surround sound effect.
Lenovo has aggressively priced the smartphone, as the K5 Note will cost RMB 1,099 (around $167) in China, where it will be sold through flash sale model, as the first flash will take place this week. As for the color options, the smartphone is available only is gold and silver color. Nepalese users can expect this smartphone to be available through various third party retailers in Nepal.
