Chinese smartphone manufacturer ‘Xiaomi’ is set to launch it’s next flagship smartphone ‘Mi 5’ on February 24 as claimed by it’s co-founder and senior vice-president “Li Wanqiang”. The phone is set to launched after 1.5 years as it’s predecessor Mi 4 was launched.The report came from Weibo site as the co-founder said that the smartphone will be launched at February 24. There will more details coming on January 26.
According to the rumors, the Mi 5 is believed to pack the latest and greatest from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 820 chipset alongside a fingerprint scanner as well as 4GB of RAM and a 64GB of internal storage. We also expect the Mi 5 to be priced aggressively like it’s predecessor Mi 4.
Xiaomi smartphone has recently been popular among Nepalese users (especially teenagers) due to it’s affordable price tag alongside the combination of decent build and hardware. The Chinese brand is hugely competing with other Chinese and Indian brands like Huawei and Micromax and we won’t be surprised if the Mi 5 creates a huge buzz among Nepalese smartphone users.
