After a limited number of launch of Facebook’s Live video in iOS devices, the company has announced that it will be launching the Live video feature for Android devices. The feature will be launching worldwide, however USA will be the first country to receive this feature with more countries on the list.
To be precise, Facebook Live video feature allow users to stream or capture Live videos directly from their smartphone (which is pretty much similar to apps like Periscope). The feature is not too new as it was launched back in August 2015, with small number of verified accounts and celebrities enjoying the feature since it was announced. The feature will now gradually hit all the Android users in coming days.
If you have a Android device and the feature enabled, you can start the stream or Live video by selecting “What’s on your mind”(which you are pretty much familiar about) and selecting the Live video icon. After you are done streaming, the video will be saved to your Timeline. Pretty cool, HUH? Be sure to let us know “what’s on your mind” about this feature on the comment box below.
