One of the most reputed and largest telecom service provider in Nepal – Nepal Telecom has once again been targeted by a group of Nepalese hackers. This time the hackers has managed to breach out and hack the ADSL service of the company. The hackers has successfully hacked the username and password of the users. As claimed by them, more than 47300 DSL routers manufactured by TP-Link are vulnerable.
The hackers have managed to hack the username and password as well as has published all the sensitive information here. Nepal Telecom’s website and server has frequently been targeted recently by most hackers in Nepal, with the recent one being: a group called Anonymous opnep hacked the website of the company which includes various sensitive information like username, father’s name as well as other informations, later the 18-years old guy named Bikash Paudel was found to be guilty.
Since the server of Nepal Telecom is targeted by hackers time to time, it has been clear that the security system of Nepal Telecom’s server are too weak. Such series of hack leave the users of Nepal Telecom unsecured and vulnerable as well as indicates that the company is quite careless considering the security of their users.
