Gionee’s authorized distributor in Nepal – Teletalk Pvt. Ltd has officially launched the Marathon M5 Plus in Nepal for the price of Rs. 39,999. The Marathon M5 Plus is the successor of it’s Marathon M5, which was launched a year ago. Previous Marathon smartphones were known to have impressive battery technology and the Marathon M5 Plus is not an exception as well.
The Marathon M5 Plus is packed with 5020mAh battery, which is less than it’s predecessor – Marathon M5 which packed 6020mAh battery. But as claimed by Gionee, the smartphone is insured to have 90% of it’s battery capacity even after two years of use.
The smartphone features a huge 6-inch Full-HD AMOLED panel, which will surely help it’s battery life due to AMOLED panel possessing energy efficient technology. The whole display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 which will protect the phone against minor drops and scratches. Inside, the smartphone is powered by MediaTek’s MT6753 64-bit chipset with Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.3GHz, the phone is also integrated with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card slot.
In case you are wondering about the camera, the phone sports a 13MP primary camera with an aperture rate of f/2.2 accompanied by features like phase detection auto-focus and LED flash alongside a 5MP selfie shooter upfront. Other noticeable features includes a fingerprint scanner which has ability to read your fingerprints in 0.3 seconds.
