The authorized distributor of Gionee smartphone in Nepal – Teletalk Pvt. Ltd. has officially launched the new Marathon lineup – M5 Mini in Nepal for the price of Rs. 16,999. The M5 Mini has acceptable specs considering its price tag, we can say that the M5 Mini has pretty much bumped down specs when compared to its elder brother – M5 Plus.
The M5 has a metal finish to its body, like its siblings – M5 and M5 Plus, combined up with a 5-inch display with an resolution of 1280 x 720. Inside, the smartphone is powered by MediaTek MT6580 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled up with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through a microSD card slot. Camera wise, the smartphone features an 8MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture rate alongside 5MP selfie shooter up front. The whole phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop on top of Gionee’s Amigo UI, as for now there are no words of Android Marshmallow for this device.
