The successor to last year Gionee S6 – Gionee S6 Pro is going to be launched next week. As per the report, Gionee will be launching the S6 Pro on June 13 in China, the report also leaks up some specs of the smartphone.
As per the detailed TENAA report, the Gionee S6 Pro will be featuring a metal unibody alongside Qualcomm’s popular Snapdragon 652 chipset and 4GB of RAM. This time Gionee S6 Pro will be featuring a 5.5-inch 1080p display, which is a significant bump from last years 720p. The whole smartphone is expected to be powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow alongside 64GB of internal storage with microSD card option for expansion.
All proper upgrade has made the device a little bit thicker to 7.6mm from its last year model which measured 6.9mm in thickness. Even though the device is a little bit thicker than its predecessor, the weight and the battery capacity (3,130mAh) of the smartphone remains to be same. The S6 Pro is touted to feature a USB Type-C port for charging and wired data connectivity.
