In recent weeks, the flagship smartphone from OnePlus has been in the circle of various rumors. Putting end to those rumors OnePlus has officially revealed its flagship device – the OnePlus 3. We aren’t much surprised after seeing the specs of the new flagship from the Chinese company, since the OnePlus 3 has been pretty much rumored all the time from a couple of months ago.
Coming to the detailed specs, the OnePlus 3 sports a 5.5-inch Full-HD Optic AMOLED display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Inside, the smartphone is powered by non-other than Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 chipset alongside Adreno 530 GPU and runs on quad-core processor – 2 of them clocked at 2.2GHz, whereas the other 2 clocked at 1.6GHz. The smartphone features 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of non-expandable storage, as expected.
Coming to the camera, the OnePlus 3 features 16MP Sony IMX298 primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture rate, boasting features like phase detection autofocus, optical image stabilization (OIS), LED flash and a 4K video video recording capability. Interestingly, the handset is equipped with 8MP Sony IMX179 sensor capable of recording videos at 1080p with electronic image stabilization, which basically shall improve your videos. OnePlus has also integrated the Smart Capture software in its phone which helps you to capture excellent images with four noticeable features – Dynamic De-noise, Auto HDR Mode, HD Mode and Smile Capture.
Other noticeable features of the OnePlus 3 includes, a fingerprint scanner, support for LTE Cat. 6, dual SIM slot, a notification light, and a NFC which was missing from last years flagship – OnePlus 2. The whole smartphone is powered by a 3,000mAh battery with Dash Charge support which provides over 60% charge in just 30 minutes. The phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on top of Oxygen OS. The OnePlus is a piece of anodized aluminum and will be available in two different color options, including Soft Gold and Graphite.
The OnePlus 3 will go on sale in India without any invitation process for the price of INR 27,999. The handset is also expected to be launched in Nepal soon for the price of around 50,000-60,000 NPR.
