The authorized distributor of Gionee phones in Nepal Teletalk Pvt Ltd has officially launched the Gionee S6s in Nepal for the price of Rs.25,999 in Nepal. Being a successor to last year’s Gionee S6 the new S6s features little improvement most notably in its camera section.
As far as specs are concerned the new Gionee S6s features a 5.5-inch 1080p display which is comparatively superior to last year S6’s 720p display. Featuring a 2.5D curved display and a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 it’s safe to say that the sexy metal looks of the phone won’t get destroyed by nicks and scratches. Inside, the phone is powered by similar Mediatek MT6753 64bit octa-core chipset bearing a clock speed of 1.3GHz. The smartphone is backed up with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD card.
The camera of Gionee S6s features noticeable changes, which as claimed by the company is a significant upgrade over its S6. The 13MP primary camera of the phone features Sony IMX 258 sensor with an aperture rate of f/2.0. Up front, there is an impressive 8MP camera with an aperture rate of f/2.2 and a LED flash. Coupled of with 13MP rear-facing camera and an 8MP front facing camera, the Gionee S6s is an appropriate choice for users who are seeking budget photography.
Other feature includes support for dual-SIM with 4G capability and a fingerprint scanner at the back of the phone.
