LeEco (LeTV) is not a known brand when it comes to smartphones, being just a one and a half-year-old the Chinese streaming company has already produced two smartphones – LeEco Le 1s and LeEco Le 2. The LeEco Le 2 is just 4 months old but it has been rumored that the company is already looking for its successor.
Rumored to be named as LeEco Le 2s the device is expected to be launched coming September (probably Sep 7) and has already been leaked via pictures. Although, the picture is clearly showing its design we are a bit skeptical about its existence since it’s a rumor as always.
In a world of smartphone where 4GB of RAM is still considered as flagship level specs and where people are just getting used to seeing phones with 6GB of RAM, the LeEco Le 2s is rumored to come with a whopping 8GB of RAM. But once again it’s still a rumor and should be taken with a grain of salt until the company hints at the existence of the smartphone.
The massive amount of RAM is rumored to be accompanied by Qualcomm’s latest and greatest Snapdragon 821 chipset. Some report points out that the phone will feature a 5.5-inch 2.5D display and 64GB of internal storage. Although the resolution of the phone hasn’t yet been leaked we still believe that the LeEco Le 2s will feature a QHD display alongside Gorilla Glass 5.
There has been no report about the pricing of the device, however, we believe that the smartphone will be priced much less than expected. If all the rumors about the phone happen to be true then the upcoming flagship from LeEco will surely go head to head against other flagships in the market.
