The Authorized distributor of Xiaomi phones in Nepal – Vatsal Impex has officially unveiled Redmi 3s for the price of Rs. 19,999 in Nepal. Users purchasing the phone from their official website will receive a Xiaomi Mi Health Band worth Rs. 2,399. If you are interested in the offer then you better hurry up as the offer lasts until 17th of August, starting from today (14th of August).
The Xiaomi Redmi 3s sports a 5.0-inch HD IPS LCD display resulting a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The 720p display of the phone is a true disappointment for us since it doesn’t justify its price tag. There are a lot of alternatives available in the market with a better display and similar price tag. The smartphone is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 430 mid-range chipset clocked at 1.1GHz and is coupled up with 2GB of RAM. As far as the storage is concerned, the Redmi 3s comes with 16GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card up to 256GB. Fortunately, there’s a fingerprint scanner at the back of the phone.
Coming to the camera section, the Redmi 3s features a 13MP primary camera with an aperture rate of f/2.0, phase detection autofocus, and LED flash. Up front, there is a 5MP shooter for selfies.
In case you are wondering, connectivity wise the phone supports dual-SIM(Micro + Nano) with 4G capability, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi b/g/n, and a GPS. The whole phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and packs an impressive 4100mAh battery with fast charging capability. Considering its price tag, the only drawback of this phone is its low-resolution display, otherwise, the Xiaomi Redmi 3s is a viable option for users targeting budget-oriented smartphone. Users can purchase the phone from the official website or from authorized retailers located across Nepal, later on.
