Google has changed the Nexus Launcher to Pixel Launcher which indirectly points out that the upcoming smartphone from Google will be called “Pixel” rather than “Nexus”. A ROM developer @LlabTooFeR uploaded some images of the launcher which points out some details regarding the launcher.
There’s still an arrow at the bottom of the screen to access the app drawer. you can directly search apps in the app drawer, you don’t have to swipe down to search. It looks quite similar to the “Nexus Launcher” including the feature of Google toggle to access Google Now.
There’s also an app working as a second fiddle alongside the Pixel Launcher for selecting varieties of wallpapers. The wallpaper selector tends to download high-quality images from Google’s server. In case you want to change your wallpaper daily related to the category you want, there’s also an option known as “Daily Wallpaper”.
The new “Pixel Launcher” now allows users to use landscape mode from homescreen too but for now, it has to be enabled from the settings page.If you’re interested in trying the new “Pixel Launcher” then you can click here. The wallpaper selector can be downloaded from here.
