Meizu – the Chinese brand has officially announced its new device entitled as M3 Max. Especially targeted to people seeking mid-range smartphone the Meizu M3 Max packs a huge 4,100mAh battery inside.
Talking about the specs the Meizu M3 Max sports a massive 6-inch full HD display. Inside, there’s a MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core chipset powering the device bearing a clock speed of 1.3GHz and a Mali T860 GPU. The M3 Max is backed up with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage with an option for expansion.
Camera wise there’s a 13MP primary unit with Sony’s IMX258 sensor and f/2.2 aperture. Up front, there’s a 5MP camera for selfies with an aperture rate of f/2.0. In case you’re wondering there’s a fingerprint scanner placed right below the display which works as a home button too.
The whole phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of Flyme OS 5.2. Connectivity wise, the phone supports dual SIM with 4G capability, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB Type-C port for exchanging data. The phone will be available for pre-orders on September 12 and will go on sale on September 15 carrying a price tag of around $255.
