Pashupati Tradelink – the official distributors of Micromax phones in Nepal has unveiled its Canvas 5 Lite in Nepal for the price of Rs. 12,100. While the phone is the “lite” version of Micromax’s Canvas 5 launched a year ago the main culmination of the device tends to be its leather finish on the back.
As for the specs, the Canvas 5 Lite sports a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Inside, the smartphone is powered by MediaTek MT6735P quad-core chipset clocked at 1.0GHz. Alongside the chipset, the phone is backed up by 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage which can be expanded via a microSD card.
Camera wise the Micromax Canvas 5 Lite boasts an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 720p video recording capability. There’s also a 5MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats. The Canvas 5 Lite runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and packs a 2000mAh battery inside. Connectivity wise the Canvas 5 Lite supports dual-SIM with 4G LTE capability, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and OTG functionality.
