Considering that Dashain and Tihar are near the corner, one of the largest telecom provider in Nepal – Nepal Telecom has brought chunks of valuable offers for its huge GSM and CDMA user base. The offer will be valid for the upcoming festive season for all GSM and CDMA’s prepaid & postpaid users.
Data Offer
The data offer from NTC is valid for all users using GSM and CDMA’s prepaid & postpaid plans. The offer includes inexpensive data packages with free voice call and SMS packages over the network. Users can purchase 100MB data at Rs. 50 and 200MB data at Rs. 100, both valid for 5 and 10 days respectively. As stated alongside the purchase of the data package during this period, users acquiring 100MB data will receive 10 minutes of free voice call and 10 free SMS, while users opting in for 200MB will receive 25 minutes of free voice call and 25 SMS for free.
Bear in mind, the offer will be provided to users in two phases – starting from Ashwin 15 the first phase will end on 29th of Ashwin, whereas the second phase of the offer will start from 12th of Kartik until 21st of Kartik.
Night Data Offer
NTC has further extended its offer to night data package for both GSM and CDMA users as well. As stated, users can redeem the 500MB data package at Rs. 40 and 1200MB data at Rs. 85 and will be able to surf the internet within the time period of 10PM to 6AM. The data package will be valid for 7 days(500MB) and 15 days(1200MB). The night data offer will start from 15th of Ashwin until 3 months.
Deduction in Voice calls rate
As stated NTC will be offering 10% deduction on the voice call rates for GSM and CDMA users. However, the offer will be applicable for users performing the call within the periphery of telecom’s network. The offer will now allow prepaid users to perform calls at Rs 1.35 per minute, whereas postpaid users will be charged 90 paisa per minute. The offer will also run in 2 phases – one from 22nd of Ashwin until 29th of Ashwin, while the second one will run from 14th of Kartik until 21st of Kartik.
SMS Offer
GSM and CDMA users are currently being charged Rs. 1 per SMS, but NTC will be offering around 50% deduction on SMS rates from the upcoming Ashwin 22 until Ashwin 29 and Kartik 14 to Kartik 21.
Free 100 calls for Landline users
Currently, the landline users are receiving around 175 free calls at Rs. 200, but as stated NTC will be offering around 100 additional calls on top of the old offer during the month of Ashwin and Kartik.
ADSL, WiMAX, and FTTH Offer
ADSL, WiMAX, and FTTH users have also something to cheer about as NTC will gift additional time for those unlimited and volume based ADSL users whose plans are near to the expiring date. The company will also be offering an additional time for those WiMAX and FTTH users whose plans are near to the expiring date.
In case you’re wondering the offer will be valid till 29th of Ashwin for users whose plans are expiring during the period of Dashain(22th of Ashwin to 28th of Ashwin). The offer will also be valid until 21st of Kartik for users whose plans are expiring during the period of Tihar(14th of Kartik to 20th of Kartik).
As stated GSM and CDMA users will also be offered around 10% of Talktime bonus if recharged from the company’s MPOS system.
