Gionee Nepal has officially launched the S6 Pro for the price of Rs. 34,999 in Nepal. Being a successor to last year’s Gionee S6, the S6 Pro features impressive specs in every possible way. The new S6 Pro now comes with an upgraded 4GB RAM and an appealing metal body. While the phone boasts imposing features to dribble for, the phone comes with its own setbacks and downgrade to last year’s popular S6.
Featuring a 5.5-inch full-HD display the phone sees an upgrade to last year’s 720p display of Gionee S6, and add that 2.5D curved glass to make the phone more stylish and awe-inspiring. However, the phone now comes with an LCD panel compared to last year’s vibrant Super AMOLED panel. Boasting full metal uni-body design the phone look more premium as it ever gets, down at the bottom the phone comes with a fingerprint scanner embedded right into the home button.
Underneath, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P10(MT6755) octa-core chipset bearing a clock speed of 1.8GHz. Apart from the chipset, the phone now comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage which is a significant upgrade from last year’s 3GB and 32GB combination seen on Gionee S6. The whole phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on top of Gionee’s Amigo OS 3.2 and packs a decent 3,130mAh battery inside.
Camera wise the phone sports a 13MP rear sensor at the back with an aperture rate of f/2.0, PDAF, and LED flash making it an excellent companion for users who are looking for a point and shoot camera. There’s an upgraded 8MP camera for selfies. The new Gionee S6 Pro can be purchased from any authorized distributor located across Nepal.
