Viber Media SARL has now made Viber free in 5 different locale points of Kathmandu. Known as ‘Free Viber Zone’ the service is available in 5 different popular areas of Kathmandu including Lalitpur Mall, City Center, Kathmandu Mall and Cafe De Craft located in Shantinagar.
Provided by Subisu Internet Pvt. Ltd users can now use the service to make Viber calls, Viber Message and Viber video calls without any extra data charges. Interested users can log-in and use the free internet service as long as they can. As stated by Anubhav Iyer – Regional Head of Viber South Asia, the service has been provided to the users considering the craze and growth of Viber users in Nepal.
The company has been providing free Viber Nepali stickers to interested users, while, recently they also offered free Viber out calls to the masses. The recent gestures from Viber clearly prove that the company is willing to invest in Nepali market and stand strong among the competitors including other messaging apps like WhatsApp and Skype which is still a win-win situation for us, nonetheless.
