While it’s just been a couple of weeks since the launch of its P85, Colors Mobile has already popped up with the new handset in the market — this time the Pride P85+. Priced at Rs. 12,995 the Pride P85+ boasts slight upgrade from its counterpart, with the main highlight being its formidable camera performance.
The phone carries a 5.3-inch HD(720×1280) IPS Oncell display with a layer of Asahi enhanced glass protecting the screen from nicks and scratches. Under the hood, the phone is powered by MediaTek’s MT6580 quad-core chipset bearing a maximum clock speed of 1.3GHz, there’s also 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB. The whole phone runs on Android 6.1 Marshmallow and packs a 2,600mAh battery inside.
Coming to the camera the Pride P85+ sports a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 Kantatsu lens, auto-focus, and triple LED flash. Selfies are taken care by the 8MP sensor at the front with LED flash. The phone also includes varieties of software add-ons for the camera including the face beauty mode, letting you tweak your photos for beautification purpose.
Despite carrying an upgraded and impressive number of specs, the Colors Pride P85+ simply lacks a fingerprint scanner which was present in the P85.
Connectivity option includes dual-sim with 3G support, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, and A-GPS. Digging further deep, the handset hosts gyroscopic sensor for VR supported app, light sensor and proximity sensor. The Pride P85+ will be available in two color options — Gold+White & Full Gold and can be purchased from any authorized retailers located across Nepal.
