Just as when rumors were surrounding that Huawei has the Pro version of its recently launched Mate 9 under their belt, the company has launched the new Huawei Mate 9 Pro. The Mate 9 featured some top of the line specs including the Kirin 960 chipset and dual Leica lens, and the Mate 9 Pro is no exception here.
The Mate 9 Pro was launched at the dedicated event held in China, today. While the phone definitely carries Pro branding, the phone do not differ from the Mate 9 Porsche variant. The phone comes with a 5.5-inch dual-curved QHD AMOLED display and packs a similar Kirin 960 chipset. The phone has got two variants including a 4GB and 6GB RAM and comes with second gen dual Leica powered lens like its counterpart. The phone also boasts a fingerprint scanner at the front of the phone — similar to that of Mate 9 Porsche variant.
As far as pricing is concerned, the Huawei Mate 9 is priced at $686 for the 4GB/64GB variant, while the 6GB/128GB option will cost you $775 — $110 more expensive than the Mate 9. Huawei is yet to speak about its availability.
