Intex Nepal has officially unveiled its new Aqua smartphone entitled as Aqua 4.5 3G for the price of Rs. 5,999. The budget phone from the company comes with minimal specs including the 4.5-inch WVGA display.
Underneath, the phone runs on MediTek’s 1.2GHz MT6572A dual-core chipset(really?) coupled up with mere 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM which is expandable up to 32GB. The phone is powered by an outdated Android 4.4.2 KitKat and packs a 1,500mAh battery.
As far as the camera is concerned the handset sports a disappointing 2MP sensor at the back with f/2.8 aperture and LED flash. The front is accompanied by a 0.2MP camera making it a no go for those selfie fanatics.
The 3G supporting phone from Intex features Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, A-GPS, and FM Radio. The Intex Aqua 4.5 is quite disappointing for us considering that there are an impressive number of smartphones in market bearing superior specs and similar price tag.
