Viber Media SARL. has added a new feature to its messaging app. Dubbed as the public accounts the feature is built upon the already existing public chats features which let you connect with celebrities. The new public accounts let you connect with various business representatives and brands, from which you can gather information or support.
For now, the messaging app consists 1000 public accounts including brands like The Weather Channel, Yandex, and even Tuborg. Just subscribe to any of these brands and get updates right onto your device throughout the day. At the moment the messaging app doesn’t support customer service, however, the feature will be added within the coming month. The aspect will contain 10 and 15 widely used CRM suites letting business organization use them as they do while using emails.
The public accounts can reportedly be used for bots, however, Viber won’t be providing any bots to the businesses. There’s reportedly around 800 million Viber users from which around 266 million are active.
