Huawei Mobile Nepal has officially introduced the GR5 2017 in Nepal. Being a predecessor to the GR5, which went out to be one of the most popular smartphones in Nepal, the GR5 2017 is a perfect companion for trendsetters and camera enthusiasts. The handset is currently available for pre-orders(from 18th of December to 22nd of December) carrying a price tag of Rs. 29,999 for 3GB RAM/32GB ROM variant and Rs. 35,900 for 4GB RAM/64GB ROM variant in Nepal. To sweeten the deal, users pre-ordering the handset will receive a 13000mAh Huawei original power bank for free.
The Huawei GR5 2017 sports a 5.5-inch full HD display(1080 x 1920 pixels). The phone is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 655 chipset with octa-core CPU(4 x 2.1GHz + 4 x 1.7GHz). Memory wise, the phone comes in two variants including the 3GB/32GB and the 4GB/64GB. There’s also fingerprint scanner at the back of the phone.
Talking about the main highlight of the phone — the camera — Huawei GR5 2017 comes with the dual camera at the back, the first one being the 12MP sensor, whilst the second one being the 2MP, both cohesively working to create a bokeh effect. The selfies are taken by an 8MP camera at the front.
The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of EMUI 4.1 and packs a decent 3,340mAh battery inside. Connectivity option of the phone includes dual-SIM with 4G support, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and A-GPS. The phone can be purchased in from any authorized retailers in three color options, including Silver, Gray, and Gold.
