The much anticipated mobile game of the year, the Super Mario Run is now available for iOS users to download from the App Store. The brainchild and darling of Nintendo is the first game from the company to the mobile world, which has sheer ability to be as successful as the Pokemon Go. The game is available for free as a trial, however, you need to pay $9.99 to unlock all the levels.
The endless runner game allows users to control Mario in a traditional and nostalgic environment with a simple one tap control; just tap to jump. The simple but fun game from Nintendo has already led people to speculate it to be a strong base for the company, considering the popularity and hype it has been creating from a couple of weeks ago.
Super Mario Run comes with three main modes, the first one dubbed as “World Tour” lets you play solitary throughout the 24 levels based on six worlds. The second one, namely “Toad Rally” allows you to challenge your friend’s time during the race via specific levels, and the last one entitled as “Mushroom Kingdom” allows you to create and design your own levels. However, to unlock the last one you must earn currency and unlock five different game based characters from the first two levels.
The game sadly requires the internet connection to be played all the time, which won’t let users disconnect the internet connection for even a single second — all for the sake of stopping the piracy.
