After numerous rumors and speculation, Lenovo has officially introduced its ZUK Edge. The flagship smartphone from the company comes with commendable specs and a complement worthy design.
The ZUK Edge sports a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a layer of 2.5D curved glass. As stated, the handset’s display covers 1500:1 contrast ratio and 85{36e0204d4787f73122fcb1e17fa2cf53ad675a621d12c60fa6f762fd2fe714bb} of NTSC color capable of producing vivid and dynamic colors. The ZUK Edge is packed with a Snapdragon 821 chipset and Adreno 530 GPU. The device comes in two variants including the 4GB and 6GB RAM, both paired with 64GB of UFS 2.0 onboard storage for the lag-less experience. There’s also a fingerprint scanner at the front with an impressive read speed of 0.9 seconds.
The phone comes with 13MP primary camera at the back with f/2.2 aperture, 1.34μm sensor, and PDAF. Keeping health conscious users in mind Lenovo has implemented a heart rate sensor at the back, below the LED flash. Up front, the phone features an 8MP camera for selfies and video chats. The phone also includes a Dirac HD Sound for immersive and HiFi audio experience — a treat for music lovers.
Connectivity option includes dual SIM with 4G VoLTE support, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1 LED, GPS, and USB Type-C port for data exchanging.
The whole phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat on top of ZUI 2.5 and packs a 3100mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. As for the pricing, the 4GB variant of ZUK Edge can be purchased for $330, whilst the 6GB one will set you back for $360. The phone will possibly go on sale from early next year.
