Samsung has officially unveiled its three new A-series smartphone, as suggested. The lineup includes Galaxy A3(2017), A5(2017), and A7(2017). The main highlight of all three smartphones tends to be the IP68 certification, meaning they are water and dust resistant. All three phones houses an always on display, metal body, and a 3D back panel offering a premium look.
Galaxy A3(2017)
The first from the list, the Galaxy A3(2017) comes with 4.7-inch Super AMOLED display. Underneath, the phone is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 14nm chipset accompanied by Mali-T830 GPU. The handset is paired up with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage which can be expanded via a microSD card up to 256GB. The whole phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs a 2350mAh battery & fingerprint scanner.
The phone sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 8MP front camera for selfies and video chats. Connectivity of the phone includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and A-GPS.
Galaxy A5(2017)
The Galaxy A5(2017) sports a 5.2-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display. Inside, the phone is powered by Exynos 7880 chipset bearing a clock speed of 1.87GHz coupled up with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone boots Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs a 3000mAh battery with adaptive fast charging. The phone also features a fingerprint scanner at the front.
As far as the camera is concerned, the A5(2017) boasts a 16MP sensor at the back with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash, while selfies are taken care by an impressive 16MP front camera. Connectivity option of the phone includes dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE support, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, A-GPS, and USB Type-C port for data exchanging.
Galaxy A7(2017)
The Galaxy A7(2017) borrows most of the specs from the A5(2017). Some noticeable difference includes 5.7-inch Full-HD Super AMOLED panel and a 3600mAh battery with adaptive fast charging.
The Galaxy A3(2017) and Galaxy A5(2017) carries a price tag of €329 and €429 respectively, whilst Samsung is yet to reveal anything about the pricing of remaining smartphone.
