The S series has become one of the most admirable smartphone models and has set the example in this mobile era of technology. Since the launch of the first Galaxy S device, Samsung’s Smartphone sales has been skyrocketing. Like previous S series, the Galaxy S8 will once again deliver superior durability, amazing visual appeal, enhanced functionality, vibrant display, unique productivity, and will help redefine 2017 smartphone trends.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 is packed up with some great specification and features to give a tough competition to world’s best selling smartphones. The phone is rumored to come with 5.8-inches Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixel resulting in a pixel density of around 568 ppi. The device will run on the latest Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 4GB RAM, and 64/128GB inbuilt storage which will be expandable via microSD Card up to 256GB.
The smartphone might come with a DeX accessories, such as a dock that will allow you to transfer the device to an Android desktop PC when the dock is also connected to a keyboard mouse and monitor. It is also expected that the smartphone will support an iris scanner feature similar to the deceased brother Galaxy Note 7 and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. However, it has been reported that Samsung will be ditching the iconic home button favoring a less bezel, while fingerprint scanner will be shifted backward.
Talking about the camera, early leaks point at the dual camera setup at the back. However, the latest leaks hint that due to a large display in the front, a dual camera setup will be hard to cram in. The front camera, however, will see an upgrade as the Galaxy S8 may finally feature autofocus functionality on the front camera — the first of its kind from the company.
The handset is rumored to run Android 7.0 Nougat and will be powered by a 3000mAh non-removable battery. Connectivity options are said to include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and 4G LTE.
According to the rumors, the targeted launch date of Galaxy S8 is at the end of the March or in the month of April.
