Prism Technologies, the official distributor of InFocus smartphones in Nepal has officially unveiled the 3GB variant of the InFocus M680. While the 2GB variant of the phone already packed some noticeable features and probably was enough for most of us, a 1gig upgrade is still a welcome change for us. As far as pricing is concerned, the smartphone carries a price tag of Rs. 21,490 in Nepal — 2000 more than the 2GB one.
Albeit the fact that we have already mentioned about how good the smartphone is, to recap the specs, the phone sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display resulting in a pixel density of 401ppi. Underneath sits the 1.3GHz MT6753 octa-core chipset from MediaTek. Memory wise, as mentioned above, the phone now comes with 3GB of RAM, whilst it’s stuck with a similar storage capacity of 16GB, with an option for microSD expansion.
Shifting the focus, the crowned jewel of the smartphone remains to be its commendable camera setup. A 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture is still a viable option for point and shoot low light photography, while the 13MP Samsung ISOCELL front camera tends to make the solidly built metal smartphone more appealing.
Software wise the phone boots on Android 6.0 Marshmallow on top of InLife UI 2.0 out of the box. The 4G LTE supporting phone comes with dual-hybrid SIM slot and packs a near-decent 2600mAh battery. As like most of the InFocus phones, the InFocus M680 will be available at your nearest store.
