Intex Nepal has officially launched its new entry-level smartphone entitled as Aqua 4.5 Pro. Priced at Rs. 7,999 in Nepal the smartphone shouts both affordability and outdated specs. The phone comes with 4.5-inch FWVGA TFT display with a resolution of 480 x 584 pixels.
Inside, it runs on 1.3GHz Spreadtrum SC7731G quad-core chipset, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of minimal storage with an option for microSD card slot. The phone offers nothing exceptional in camera department either, it shamelessly features a 2MP camera and dual-LED flash, while there’s a 0.3MP VGA front camera(pfff!!).
The phone supports dual-SIM, 3G, WiFi a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, FM-Radio, AGPS, and a microUSB 2.0 port for data exchange. The whole phone boots on a dated Android 5.1 Lollipop and packs a 1500mAh battery inside.
Every time I see the phone, it amazes me, not that it’s a good phone but just how bad the specs are. I personally don’t recommend this phone considering that there are a lot of better alternatives available in the market, including the InFocus Bingo 20 and CG EON Blaze Gold — both available within your budget range.
