Lava Smartphone Nepal has officially debuted their new Lava R1 in Nepal. The handset is a perfect companion for users seeking a decent camera under budget-friendly price tag, while the unibody metal design of the phone is a plus point.
The phone sports a 5-inch On-cell HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels protected with a layer Panda Glass and 2.5D curved glass. Underneath sits the MediaTek 6737 quad-core chipset with a clock speed of 1.3GHz and Mali-T720 GPU. Memory wise, the phone is backed up with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage which is expandable via a microSD card.
Shifting focus to the imaging department, this is where the Lava R1 shines the most. The phone boasts an 8MP camera with 1.4µm Samsung sensor, f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, and LED flash. Up front, the phone features a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and front flash.
