As a mid-range option, Teletalk Pvt. Ltd. has launched the Gionee A1 in Nepali market. The phone has been available for pre-order since the end of March and is now on sale throughout Nepal. The phone is priced at Rs. 32,999 targeting the mid-range smartphone buyers and offers some upgrades over previous Gionee phones like Gionee S6s.
MAIN SPECS of Gionee A1
Gionee A1 sports a 5.5-inch full-HD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and is powered by a MediaTek’s Helio P10 octa-core processor. We really appreciate Gionee’s efforts to pack a 4GB RAM inside this phone at such a price. The phone comes with 64GB internal storage expandable with a memory card along with a fingerprint scanner in the home button.
The phone has a 4010mAh battery that supports a new 18W fast charging technology, claiming to fully charge the phone up to 100{36e0204d4787f73122fcb1e17fa2cf53ad675a621d12c60fa6f762fd2fe714bb} in less than 2 hours. There’s also a 16MP front camera paired with a 13MP Sony camera on the back which is an upgrade over its previous selfie mobile phones like Gionee S6s. For better audio experience, Gionee has embedded the MaxxAudio sound enhancement technology in Gionee A1. For a more detailed take on the phone, take a look at our initial impression of the phone.
Besides, the slightly old Mediatek processor, Gionee A1 has a diverse feature set to appeal to most of us. Since the phone is available in the market, you can see for yourself if the phone is really as good as claimed. We will be reviewing the phone to see if the phone really does prove as a good mid-range smartphone.
Stay tuned.
