It’s official, Nokia 3 has been launched in Nepal, all thanks to Paramount Electronics, the authorized distributors of Nokia phones in Nepal. After the launch of classic Nokia 3310 phone in Nepal, the company has quickly followed up with an Android-powered Nokia smartphones. As far as specs are concerned, the Nokia 3 sports a 5-inch 720p IPS LCD display. Underneath the smartphone, there’s a MediaTek 6737 chipset, while the RAM and storage are 2GB and 16GB respectively. Optics-wise, the phone boasts an 8MP sensor at the back with f/2.0 aperture rate, autofocus and LED flash, while selfies are taken care by a similar 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture and autofocus. Unfortunately, a fingerprint scanner is absent from the phone.
For me, the Nokia 3 is an impressive smartphone under this price range. Although the chipset residing inside the smartphone is average, the build quality, as seen is quite impressive(which is quite hard to get in this price bracket). The 8MP front camera is also an added bonus for selfie fanatics. For those who are disappointed with the specs of the smartphone, Paramount Electronics will be bringing the superior Nokia 5 and 6 soon, as stated. Nonetheless, I am sure most of the users are quite happy to get their hands on a Nokia branded Android smartphone after a long waiting period.
