After launching the Huawei P10 Plus in Nepal, Huawei Mobile Nepal has quickly followed up with its entry level smartphone Y5 2017 in Nepal. Priced at Rs. 15,600, the smartphone will go on sale from Huawei’s authorized retailers and online stores. And yes, there’s a free selfie stick for every buyer.
Shifting focus to the specs, there’s nothing exceptional about this phone(minus the battery), but since it’s an entry level smartphone, we won’t complain about it. The phone sports a 5-inch 720p panel while being powered by MediaTek’s MT6737T quad-core chipset with a clock speed of 1.4GHz. Memory wise, the phone is implemented with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.
As for the camera, the phone boasts an 8MP rear sensor with f/2.0 aperture rate and dual-LED flash, while selfies are taken care by a 5MP camera at the front with LED flash.
