After the successful launch of Huawei P10 Plus and Y5 2017, Huawei Technologies has once again gone on to unveil the Y7 Prime for Rs. 24,900. Built with the metallic body the phone is aesthetically pleasing, while uncompromising the sturdiness and hand-comfort.
The Huawei Y7 Prime sports a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display complemented with a 2.5D curved glass, thus providing a satisfying look. Underneath sits the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 octa-core chipset with a clock speed of 1.4GHz. The RAM is 3GB, while the ROM is 32GB which can be further expanded via microSD card.
As for the optics, the Huawei Y7 Prime shines a 12MP 1.25 µm rear sensor with f/2.2 aperture rate, PDAF, and LED flash. Up front, the company has opted for an 8MP sensor with an aperture rate of f/2.0. The handset’s camera software is implemented with some handy features including a beauty mode, allowing users to customize their beauty level. Aside from that, the phone offers a selfie panorama mode for capturing wide pictures. There’s also a fingerprint scanner just below the rear camera with an unlock time of 0.25 seconds.
The phone boots on Android 7.0 Nougat on top of EMUI 5.1. The UI is baked with some useful features, including an eye-care mode which basically emits the blue light from the screen. All this thing is backed up by a 4,000mAh battery with smart power saving technology. Connectivity option of the phone includes dual-SIM with 4G LTE support, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, A-GPS, and FM-Radio.
