Nepa Hima Tradelink, the authorized distributors of Sony cameras in Nepal has officially unveiled the Sony a7R II for Rs. 317,000 — which as the company claims — is an unbeatable price. This flagship camera from the company comes with world’s first back-illuminated full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor.
The 42.4MP sensor of the camera is capable of delivering a high-speed Autofocus response up to 40 percent faster than its predecessor a7R, all thanks to its 399 focal plane phase detection autofocus points. The camera also features a wide range of ISOs, including from ISO 50 to ISO 102400, while there’s also an anti reflective coating on the surface of the camera’s sensor which will help accumulate more light, resulting in low-noise performance.
The camera also boasts 5-Axis image stabilization which has been refined to support the high-res sensor. This advanced form of image stabilization rectifies the shake along five axes during the shoot. Whereas, the 32mm sensor can also shoot videos in 4K — which utilizes the advanced XAVC S codec with high bit rate record of 100Mbps.
Built with magnesium alloy, the new Sony a7R II comes with WiFi and NFC, whilst there’s also an app for both iOS and Android phones, allowing users to share their work and memories between the camera and phone.
