It looks like Xiaomi is currently working on their new project based on the recently leaked renders. Chinese leakster, Kumato Technologies has leaked a render which points to the new Xiaomi X1. It shows that the renders are based on the image of Xiaomi’s leaked TPU case.
Alongside the new design leaks, the leakster also mentioned that the X1 will come with a beautiful 5.5-inch Pegasus display without any bezels(as seen on the image). It has also been claimed that the rounded display of the phone will induce a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.
Other leaks suggest that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 660 chipset, while it is expected arrive in 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM variant. The dual-camera, as seen on the image is expected to carry Sony’s IMX362 or IMX386 sensor, whilst there’s also a rear fingerprint scanner just right below the optics.
Although the rendered images look legitimately good, it seems that they’re only sketches based on the leaked case. However, there’s a catch, the phone might come in two design — the 4GB one is expected to arrive with NO bezel-less display, whereas the 6GB one is expected to arrive with a full bezel-less display. Regardless of that, the handset looks quite promising but too good to be true. Amid the rigid claims and speculations, I will let time be the judge here. So what do you think about the upcoming Xiaomi X1, will you purchase one if it arrives in Nepal?
