After the successful launch of Gionee X1 in Nepal, Gionee is set to bolster their smartphone lineup with yet another phone — this time it is the X1s. The Gionee X1s is a mid-range smartphone and comes with improvements over its predecessor X1. The smartphone can be purchased for Rs. 19,999 in Nepal.
As far as specs are concerned, the handset sports a 5.2-inch IPS HD display with a layer of Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, there’s MediaTek MT6737T chipset accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage with microSD card support. Powered by Android 7.0 Nougat, the phone comes with some built in features like App cloning, virus detection, split screen, and power management.
The Gionee X1s boasts a 13MP camera at the rear with dual-LED flash and auto focus, whereas selfies are taken care by a much better 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash for low light selfies. While we are in the camera section, there’s also a fingerprint scanner with 0.3 second read time just below the rear camera.
Powering the phone will be a 4000mAh battery and with a low-res screen, the phone is guaranteed to provide a longer on-screen time. The 4G supporting phone comes with a dual-SIM slot, Bluetooth 4.2 support, WiFi b/g/n, GPS, FM-Radio and an IR Blaster for controlling your house hold devices.
