Don’t you feel irritated when the audio starts playing automatically when you open certain websites? It really is one of the annoying things on the internet.
Fortunately, the problem will be resolved with the future update to Chrome. This little feature will make millions of people happy who suffer from the annoying auto-playing videos. It is currently in an experimental mode in Canary build of the browser.
Currently, you can mute websites by right clicking on the tab and select ‘Mute tab’ but it won’t last forever that means you still have to go through the same annoying noise the next time you open the website. However, with this feature, the sound will remain off until you turn them back on. Though, if in case you are using the Canary build of Google Chrome the feature is disabled by default. To enable it you have to run it by using the -enable features=SoundContentSetting switch.
