As rumored, Colors Mobile Nepal has taken the wrap of the new S11 in Nepal. The selfie-centric smartphone from the Nepali company will exclusively go on sale through Daraz (Kaymu) starting from the 20th of January. While you might be wondering why the device is only available on the online platform, Colors Mobile has something interesting up their sleeves. The handset, priced at Rs. 16,495 will go on sale with 24% off as an introductory offer; that makes it Rs. 12,495. Likewise, there’s also 1200MB of free Ncell data and Rs. 250 gift voucher for Daraz users.
Albeit the metallic body it comes with, the crown jewel of the Colors S11 tends to be the dual selfie camera — something you would see on smartphone priced around 20-30,000 in Nepal. The 8MP dual front camera surprisingly comes with a 120-degree wide-angle lens accompanied by an LED flash for low-light photography. The rear comprises a similar 8MP sensor with an LED flash.
Underneath the phone, there’s MediaTek MT6737W chipset handling all your processing tasks, while the RAM is 3GB and the storage is 16GB, which can be expanded via microSD card. The meticulously built smartphone further comes with a fingerprint scanner at the rear for security purposes. That’s something you shouldn’t take for granted, given its low price.
The whole phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat, while powering the phone is a 3,000mAh battery inside. As mentioned above, bear in mind, the handset will only be available through e-commerce site Daraz. Colors Mobile had also previously launched its S1 and Pride P65, both targeted for users with low-budget.
