Huawei’s flagship; Mate 10 Pro is now officially available in Nepal, courtesy of Huawei Technologies Nepal. The device, with premium design and exceptional hardware, will surely put a dent in your purse with a price tag of Rs. 1,03,990 in Nepal.
It comes with a 6-inch Full-HD AMOLED display, with 18:9 aspect ratio excellently complementing the phone’s design. On top of that, the support for HDR10 is something to cheer for entertainment junkies. For design, Huawei this time has opted for a glass back, in favour of the aluminium build, though, it might haunt some users with a clumsy hand. However, with Gorilla Glass 5 and IP67 rating, the Mate 10 Pro should offer peace of mind.
As for the hardware inside, the phone’s as good as it is outside. The Mate 10 Pro rocks the Kirin 970 processor with a dedicated Neural Processing Unit (NPU). The NPU shall offer a better machine learning and depth learning. Accompanying the capable hardware is 6GB of RAM and an ample 128GB of internal storage, though there’s no microSD card slot for expansion.
Optically, the phone’s capable as well; probably a dark horse in terms of best camera. There’s a dual Leica camera sensor at the rear — the first being the 12MP RGB sensor, while the latter is a 20MP Monochrome one. Either of the sensors comes with f/1.6 aperture rate, allowing the phone to shoot detailed images in low-lighting conditions. And, of course, the NPU’s presence will allow the phone to detect the surrounding and objects, producing an optimized shot according to the scene. Not to forget the PDAF useful for faster focus. Selfies are taken care by an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Remaining feature includes a fingerprint scanner and a rare IR blaster. Booting the phone will be Android 8.0 Oreo with EMUI 8.0 on top. The phone’s battery is something impressive either; the huge 4,000mAh battery can be charged via USB Type-C port, whilst the company’s fast charging makes the Mate 10 Pro a champ.
The Huawei Mate 10 Pro can be purchased in Mocha Gold colour through official retailers located across the nation. So, what do you think about the phone?
