OPPO is set to unveil the new A83 on 25th of January in Nepal. The handset will join the company’s selfie-centric lineup alongside the recently launched OPPO F5.
Jacketed with aluminium body the phone sports a 5.7-inch 720p display. Inside, there’s MediaTek Helio-P23 (MT6763T) chipset paired up with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage which is expandable via microSD card.
It also comes with a 13MP camera at the rear with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. And for selfies, there’s an 8MP camera with a similar aperture. The front camera basically powers its facial unlock feature; something you can brag about despite an absence of a fingerprint scanner.
Dragging the power from will be a 3,180mAh battery inside, whilst Android 7.1 Nougat on top of Color OS 3.2 will boot the phone out of the box. Although the pricing is yet to be unveiled, we expect the phone to come with a price tag of around 25,000 in Nepal.
