Tunchhe Trans Himalayan Trading Concern, the authorized distributor of Rieju bikes in Nepal, has launched is two new variants of dirt bikes; Marathon Pro 185 Dirt and Rieju Marathon Pro 185 Motard 2017 which is priced at Rs. 6,30,000 and Rs. 6,45,000 respectively.
The Spanish bike looks very cool with its distinctive and eye-catchy graphics. It is what every dual-sports motorcycle should be — simple and minimal but yet attractive. The dirt bikes comprise very few parts but at the same time uses very high-grade plastic that is durable enough to tackle the “off-road” streets of Nepal. The Motard version gets the street tires which makes the bike looks more aggressive in the busy streets of cities.
The seat height of the bike is positioned at 890mm which sits a bit lower than compared other bikes available in the market. This might be good news for average height people who like dirt bikes.
To make the bike more durable, Rieju uses a highly resistant double-cradle steel perimeter chassis which comes with a detachable rear sub-chassis. In the front, it gets upside-down forks of 40mm and on the back, it has a Gas Mono Shock absorber system with a bottle PRS system. To take control of the brake there’s a gal four-wave disk 300mm with piston caliper on the front and 200mm on the rear.
Even though it is a Spanish manufacturer, Rieju borrows Yamaha‘s 4T 185cc 4 valve liquid-cooled engine which produces a maximum power of 21 BHP. It has a 6-speed manual gear system. The dirt bikes also use carburetors rather than the Electronic Fuel Injection system, which might be considered in our scenario. The downside of these bikes is that they can hold just 6.32 Liter of fuel in their tank.
The company is offering 8 attractive graphics options that include Orange, Matte Black, White, Red, Blue, Yellow, Black, and Red color options.
