And for those who want to upgrade to the bigger capacity, Syakar Trading Company has launched the Honda XR190 with the price tag of Rs. 5,70,000 in Nepal. Among its competitor we can see, Honda has been playing clever to claim the top spot and are trying their best to offer customers as many options as possible.
The preference of dual-purpose bikes in Nepal is no surprise considering the road condition here in Nepal. Alongside the road condition, the secret behind Honda XR150 successive runs is its sleek design and suitable height. The sibling Honda XR190 looks old school yet attractive; with minimal changes being made on its side, minus the engine, of course. It gets the new graphics with an appealing red and white color scheme.
The front of the bike gets Telescopic Fork, while the rear has Mono Shock. The new XR190 is powered by 184cc single-cylinder engine and a balanced torque now gets electronic fuel injection which pumps out 15.6 HP @ 8500 rpm and 15.7Nm of torque at 5500rpm mated with a five-speed gearbox enough to take different terrains. It gets 12 liters of the fuel tank which should provide a mileage of 30-35 Kmpl, depending on the condition.
In the front, it has a tire size of 19-inch, whereas the rear consists of a smaller 17-inch one. It gets 240mm single-disc hydraulic front brake at the front wheel and a drums brake at the rear wheel. The instrument cluster is not digital and what it misses out like its every counterpart is the engine kill switch. The ergonomics seem to be very commanding and fully compatible with challenging off-road riding.
