After the recent launch of Galaxy A8+, Samsung has now gone on to unveil the new device in Nepal — this time it’s the Galaxy Tab A 7.0. While the tablet market has been going downhill, the new Tab A 7.0 could still prove to be your media companion.
To consume videos and all sorts of media, the tablet comes with a 7.0-inch HD IPS LCD display. Just below the display, the Tab A 7.0 is powered by Spreadtrum SC9830 chipset. Accompanying the quad-core processor is 1.5GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.
Although tablets are not meant to be used for capturing images, the tablet has a 5MP camera at the rear, whilst the front boasts a 2MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture.
“Consumer-centric innovation is at the forefront of our business. With Galaxy Tab A 7.0, we are providing our customers a device that is the perfect blend of refined design, superior display great performance and non-stop entertainment. Galaxy Tab A 7.0 caters to consumers’ On-the-go and Me-time needs thereby acting as a perfect companion for their active lifestyle.”
– Mr. Pranaya Ratna Sthapit, Head IM Biz, Samsung Nepal
The 4G supporting tablet drags the power from a decent 4,000mAh battery, though, the bummer is the outdated Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. However, that shouldn’t be your problem considering its low price tag of Rs. 15,900 in Nepal.
