TVS Motor Company has launched the much-awaited scooter, the NTORQ 125 in India. TVS has claimed that its styling has been heavily inspired by stealth aircrafts and feature some prominent details. And the way it looks will surely appeal the youth. The NTROQ 125 is the fourth line-up in the TVS scooter fleet.
Everything on the scooter is freshly equipped from the factory, from its design, the engine and the technology, the scooter is blended perfectly. The scooter looks sportier as it also carries the TVS Racing badge. In the front, it gets “Batman” Shaped LED DRLs below the headlamps and the fully digital instrument console.
As it is inspired from the stealth aircraft, the back of the scooter is something new that we’ve never seen before which looks like the “Afterburner”, along with the signature “T” shaped tail light, split grab rail and sporty muffler. It also gets the bold tubeless tire that goes well with the way it looks.
Along with the scooter, SmartXonnect also makes the debut on the NTORQ which comes from TVS’ exclusive technology platform being the first in its segment. It helps to pair the scooter with rider’s smartphones via Bluetooth connectivity through the help of their application. It features navigation assist, caller ID and parking location assist as well as three display modes – Street, Sport and Ride Stats.
The console also displays a lap timer, a top-speed recorder and average speed indicator, apart from displaying the engine oil temperature alongside two trip meters, a clock, and digital readouts for the Speedo and the fuel gauge.
Powering the NTORQ is the all-new CVTi-REVV 124.8cc motor with a 3-valve head which generates 9.5hp and 10.5Nm of torque, with the top speed of 95kmph. The scooter houses a telescopic fork and gas-filled shock absorber. For braking, a 220mm disc brake is equipped in the front and a 130mm drum at the rear. The fuel tank can hold 5-litre unit whereas, the storage can be done up to 22litre.
