Colors Mobile Nepal has officially added a new budget smartphone to their P-series lineup. This time it is the P50 Plus. The handset is priced at Rs. 6,995 in Nepal, making it one of the cheapest phones ever to come with a 4G LTE support.
The budget-oriented smartphone comes with somewhat acceptable specs. It sports a 5-inch FWVGA screen (854 x480 pixel) complemented with a 2.5D curved glass. Inside, it hosts MediaTek’s MT6737 chipset with a clock speed of 1.3GHz, while accompanying it is 1GB of RAM and an 8GB of internal storage.
Optically, there’s nothing to be surprised of. The Pride P50 Plus has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, whilst the front has a below average 2MP camera. Sadly, no selfie flash this time. Although, the camera’s inferior — it’s fine from us — especially considering the purse-friendly price tag.
The phone supports dual-SIM (3G + 4G) and has a 2,200mAh battery which shall last long given its low-res screen. Like every Colors phone launched this year, the P50 Plus will also boot on the stock version of Android 7.0 Nougat.
Colors also recently launched the S9 and S11 in Nepal catered to users looking for great selfie phones at a decent price.
