Samsung Galaxy Note 8 users in Nepal can breathe a sigh of relief. After series of beta testing the Galaxy Note 8 (SM-N950F) has finally started to receive the Android Oreo update. If in case you haven’t received the update yet, head on to the Settings > Software update > Download updates manually.
The new Android 8.0 Oreo update based on Samsung Experience 9.0 weighs about 1.47GB in size and brings tons of customization. Alongside the security, performance and battery life improvements, the new update improves the phone’s biometrics as well as adds a Quick Panel which allows you to manage notification according to your app’s categories.
The goodness also brings a revamped Edge screen with improved font size and color, while users are also offered with new clock styles for the Lock screen and Always On Display. The update also allows Samsung DeX users to use their phone as a touchpad to control the DeX without a mouse.
